Dear Partners and Friends of Abiding Glory,

I write this letter today to share some very exciting news about the next step in Abiding Glory's journey of destiny fulfillment. The short of it is that we have completely rebranded and Abiding Glory Church is now FUSE CHURCH.

That's the short of it, but let me fill in some blanks. 2010-2011 were very transitional years for Abiding Glory. They were years in which God rapidly matured us and began to transition us into the "next chapter" of our destiny. Abiding Glory was started in 2004 as primarily an international traveling and equipping ministry by my wife, Kelly and Myself. We travelled and are still traveling around the globe stirring up revival, intimacy with God, and a deeper supernatural lifestyle in people's lives. We also hosted and are still hosting conferences that literally draw in thousands of people from around the world to Knoxville, TN to be equipped and fall more in love with Jesus. In the process of this we planted Abiding Glory Church in Knoxville, TN, where we just celebrated our 4 year anniversary. Our passion is still the same and the essence of our mission is still the same.

The transition in this new chapter of our destiny is that God has directed Kelly and I to focus primarily on building a strong, thriving church that will model the advancement of the kingdom in a city. For years, the apostles and prophets have prophesied to us that we have a calling to build an apostolic resource and training center that impacts locally, regionally, and internationally and will model something for other churches all over the world. One thing we have come to realize is that, in the long term, we can serve our international call to advance the kingdom with much more fruit and effectiveness by building something and modeling something here locally in Knoxville that can be duplicated in churches all over the world. So we are continuing our international focus and travels, while also focusing at home. Most of you are already aware of this and that assignment has not changed. So why the name change?

Well, over the last couple years God has given us much clarity on the uniqueness of our call. Every church or ministry has a different focus and group of people they are reaching. Some churches/ministries primarily minister to a specific "niche" group of people such as those interested in the prophetic, or healing or evangelism, or maybe a specific age group, etc — and that is perfectly okay. Our calling, however, is very different. We are called to build something very diverse. Something that brings many streams of God's Kingdom "under one roof" so to speak. Prophetic words given to us for years have been that we have a calling to bring validity and legitimacy to the supernatural and teach it to people in a strong biblical way that causes people to realize that they don't have to be flaky but can actually be founded solidly on the Word of God and still live a supernatural lifestyle. Words have also come about our calling to impact multiple streams, or camps, in the Body of Christ. That we would be both apostolic and prophetic, while also very pastoral and evangelistic. That we would build something that would merge the supernatural and the great harvest together. That is our heart! I could go on and on but you get the idea.

The word "Fuse" means to UNITE and IGNITE. We are called to Unite, to Fuse, things such as:

With this name change we have also released a new mission statement that we believe is much more simple to memorize and unite around, while also being comprehensive enough to describe who we are. Our new mission statement is simply "To See Lives Changed and God's Kingdom Advanced". That's what we are really about. Seeing the lost saved and discipled, healing in people's bodies and lives, marriages restored, addictions broken, people moving from glory to glory in their relationship with God, displaying heaven on earth — you get the picture. All of those things can be summed up in changed lives and God's Kingdom being advanced.

The essence of Abiding Glory is still the same and still in tact. This name change and rebrand simply reflects the maturing of Abiding Glory's original call and what we've done for the last 8 years around the world. So, today we take the next step on our journey, united under the banner of FUSE and the mission "To See Lives Changed and God's Kingdom Advanced."

I hope you will join us in our excitement about this new day and next step!

For those of you who have prayed for us and partnered with us financially over the years... WE STILL NEED YOU. Your love, prayer, and financial partnership is critical to the fulfillment of our international mandate. Every prayer you pray and gift you give is seed sown into this movement to see lives changed and God's Kingdom advanced around the world. I believe that all of us will reap not only an abundant harvest around the world but also in our personal lives and in our families. One of my favorite quotes is this: "Great movements are not built by the gifts of a few but by the sacrifices of many."

Kelly and I thank you, from our hearts, for believing in this calling and for joining us in this movement to see lives changed and God's Kingdom advanced!

We hope to see you in the near future at one of our conferences in Knoxville... You can find us online at www.fusechurch.com
